UGC Employee Text Messaging Terms and Notice
Urban Growers Collective (“UGC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) uses SMS/text messaging for internal employee communications. This text messaging program is intended for work-related communications only, including attendance, tardiness, call-outs, scheduling, operational updates, safety-related notices, and related workplace matters.
Consent to Text Messaging
By providing your mobile telephone number to UGC and acknowledging this notice, you consent to send and receive SMS/text messages with UGC for work-related purposes. Messages may be sent using automated technology through UGC’s messaging service provider, including Twilio or another designated provider.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services. This messaging program is for internal employment-related communications only.
Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary depending on your role, schedule, attendance communications, and operational needs.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. UGC is not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier.
Opt-Out
You may opt out of receiving SMS/text messages by replying STOP. After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message. You may also contact [insert HR/contact email or phone number] to request removal from SMS/text communications.
If you opt out, UGC may use other available methods to communicate with you. Opting out of SMS/text messaging does not excuse you from complying with UGC’s attendance, call-out, scheduling, timekeeping, reporting, or other workplace policies.
