Register for our 2025 Community Compost season!
Help us generate compost for our local, circular food system by dropping off your kitchen scraps weekly on Saturdays at our South Chicago Farm.
Our season starts in May and runs through November. We accept registration on a rolling basis throughout the season; participants must join to be oriented on one of our bi-weekly "Learn and Volunteer” Saturdays. Every other week you’re invited to stay to learn hands-on from Darion Crawford (DC), Compost Coordinator, and make a real contribution to our composting processes here at UGC.
